Getting Started: Comprehensive Account Setup
Welcome to the SALESmanago ecosystem. To ensure your marketing automation performs at its peak, you must first establish a robust technical foundation. Skipping these steps can lead to poor email deliverability and inaccurate data reporting.
1. Technical Foundation
Before sending your first email, you must authorize SALESmanago to send on behalf of your domain.
- SPF (Sender Policy Framework): Add
include:salesmanago.plto your DNS record. - DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail): Generate a unique key in the settings panel to digitally sign your emails.
- DMARC: Establish a policy to protect your domain from spoofing.
Navigate to Settings > Users to invite your team. We recommend the following roles: * Administrator: Full access to settings and billing. * Manager: Access to CRM and Automation, but no export rights. * Graphic Designer: Access only to Email and Landing Page designers.
2. Regional and Localization Settings
Marketing is local. Ensure your system reflects your audience's environment.
| Setting | Impact |
|---|---|
| Timezone | Dictates when scheduled emails and automations are triggered. |
| Currency | Used for calculating Revenue Attribution and RFM scores. |
| Default Language | Sets the language for system-generated opt-out pages. |
Pro Tip: IP Whitelisting
For enhanced security, restrict account access to your corporate office IP address. This prevents unauthorized logins from external networks.
